Circle Up: The Telling Room’s Monthly Giving Program
Your monthly support ensures Telling Room students have everything they need to write, share, and inspire as soon as they walk through our doors. Our Circle Up monthly giving program makes it easy for you to support us at the level that’s right for your budget while offering The Telling Room critical sustaining support, outfitting our free afterschool programs with everything from pencils to art supplies to dynamic activities and more. Giving once a month powers one-of-a-kind programming that uplifts Maine's youth and helps us “keep the lights on” in our welcoming space where we cultivate an active sense of belonging and foster self-expression. Dedicated ongoing support allows us to direct key resources towards our students, helping them build their confidence as they discover their own creative voices.

This monthly scoop of student writing, alumni reflections, and teaching artist musings is a little bit of inspiration delivered right to your inbox.

The Telling Room is a registered 501(c)(3) organization, so all donations are fully tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Tax ID # / EIN: 74-3136956 Gift acknowledgement letters for monthly sustaining supporters noting both total annual donation amount and estimated tax-deductible amount for the preceding tax year are shared in January of each year. We currently hold a Guidestar/Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency for nonprofit reporting in finances, structures, programs, capacity, and impact.
