"I have the honor to share with the Telling Room staff, volunteers, and students. Since I moved to Portland, Maine in August 2011, I had been looking for a creative community. One day I saw an advertisement for the TR , and I learned a lot from their website. From that moment on I felt that the programs fit my character. The staff are so welcoming, creative and the children filled with great ideas. The Telling Room offers me the opportunity to share with others beautiful ideas, listening, teaching, and learning. I really like being a part of The Telling Room community. It inspires and encourages me."
